I'm Michael Yadlosky, a Professional Sales & Entrepreneurship student at Stetson University, founder of its first undergraduate consulting club, an early-stage investment analyst, and a corporate sales intern at one of the fastest-growing U.S. insurance brokerages.
I'm happiest building something from nothing, whether that's Stetson University's first undergraduate consulting club, a charity tournament that raised $60K+ for pediatric cancer research, or a sharper read on what a startup is really worth.
My experience spans the whole table: I screen early-stage deals as an investment analyst, run sales and business development, and dig into the numbers behind growth. I care about the work that actually moves outcomes, and about leaving every team better than I found it.
Right now I'm sharpening that edge across venture, sales, and entrepreneurship, with my sights set on a career where I can build and back great companies.
What I bring to the table
My biggest edge is intrinsic motivation. I don't need anyone looking over my shoulder. Once I'm handed a problem, I analyze it, work through the right approach, then get moving and deliver, without dragging it out.
My internship at Foundation Risk Partners taught me to beat paralysis by analysis. With hard tasks, you just have to start. Until you do, you're no closer to the goal, and you learn the most along the way. I plan to stay a student for life, always hunting for the next thing to improve.
The threads that run through everything I take on.
Founder of Hatter Consulting and a Joseph C. Prince Entrepreneur, I start things, build teams, and help businesses think sharper.
As an investment analyst, I screen early-stage deals, run due diligence, and pressure-test what a company is really worth.
From an insurance-brokerage HQ to farm-stand revenue data, I turn research and relationships into real revenue.
How you do anything is how you do everything.
Stetson University's first undergraduate consulting club, founded to bridge the gap between academic instruction and professional consulting practice.
“When I looked around campus, I kept hitting the same wall: there was no place for business students to practice thinking like consultants. No structured experience. No client work. So I built it.”
Hatter Consulting delivers affordable strategic advisory to DeLand and Central Florida businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs, while giving students the real-world reps the classroom can't.
The model: four pillars, one purpose: real consulting experience.
Teams of 3–5 students deliver strategy memos, market research, and operational recommendations for local businesses and nonprofits.
Monthly sessions on consulting frameworks, case analysis, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
Each semester, professionals from consulting, entrepreneurship, and finance share insights and connect members to the industry.
Structured prep for regional and national case competitions, putting Stetson students on the map.
Year-one goals
Selected for an 8-week internship at the national HQ of one of the fastest-growing U.S. insurance brokerages, rotating across Commercial P&C, Risk Management, and Employee Benefits, using Microsoft Copilot to research and synthesize commercial policy information.
Founded Stetson's first undergraduate consulting club, recruited a full executive board, secured the first board of directors member, and launched recruitment campaigns ahead of fall operations.
Co-coordinated and emceed a charity golf tournament raising $60K+ for pediatric cancer research, running the live auction and awards ceremony and owning logistics end to end. Returning to lead the event again in October 2026.
Analyzed $643K+ in sales and revenue data across Excel and Square POS, drove a product-line rationalization that cut low-margin items, and conducted market research supporting a $1.5M expansion initiative, after first boosting processing efficiency 20% and order accuracy to 98% as an Operations Intern.
Directed major fundraising, raising $60K for the Balanced Man Scholarship and $15K during Queen of Hearts week, and, as VP of Learning Community, built a peer-mentorship and accountability system that lifted the chapter's average GPA from 2.7 to 3.3.
Built Hatter Consulting from scratch, recruited a full exec board, landed a board director, and launched fall recruitment.
Co-coordinated and emceed Pars and a Purpose, running the live auction and awards, and I'm back to lead it again in 2026.
Analyzed Winola Farm's revenue across Excel & Square POS and drove a product-line rationalization informing pricing across 5+ sites.
Designed a peer-mentorship and accountability system as SigEp's VP of Learning Community.
I split my focus between screening early-stage deals for an angel fund and running venture due diligence, learning to tell a real business apart from a good pitch.
Ran due diligence on early-stage startups, analyzing fundraising history, team, press, and technology, and used AI-driven research to produce synthesis reports and investment memos covering market opportunity, competitive landscape, and risk.
Selected to screen 60+ early-stage opportunities per semester and present recommendations to accredited angel investors managing a $1.62M fund.
Working Mangusta's "Vertical AI" thesis, sector-specific AI built at the application layer, where the durable winners live, trained me to look past the hype and pressure-test what actually separates a winner:
The things outside the bullet points that keep me sharp and grounded.
An avid golfer (12 handicap) who plays frequently, the same focus and competitiveness I bring to co-running a $60K+ charity golf tournament for St. Jude.
You'll just as often find me on the pickleball court, fast, social, and endlessly competitive. It's become a genuine obsession.
Active member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Florida Beta Chapter at Stetson University, where I served as Vice President, leading fundraising and a peer-mentorship program.
Recommendations from those who have worked with me closely.
It has been a true pleasure to be a mentor to Mike during his tenure at Stetson University. He is humble, kind, self-driven and a joy to be around. Mike has tremendous wisdom and deep emotional intelligence. Couple that with his strong intellect and drive and he will be a very successful professional beyond his Stetson undergraduate years.
I have had the pleasure of getting to know and mentor Mike for the last year, and I have been very impressed by him. Mike is driven, humble, open-minded, a creative thinker, a good communicator and a learner. He has a very bright future ahead of him.
I'm looking for full-time, client-facing roles where I can build relationships and directly help people, with a soft spot for Florida and Texas. I'm naturally curious about venture and finance, and open to learning the rest. Whether you're hiring, building, or investing, I'd love to talk.
